Notice: Currently,  Raven’s Rest hermitage is unavailable to individual retreatants. We will provide our readers with ample notice if and when we can once again accommodate retreatants.

Raven’s Rest Hermitage is located on the lower level of Still Wood,  our home,  situated on a forested mountainside of the Newfound Range in the rural Smokies and surrounded by a thousand acres of undeveloped woodlands. The Hermitage has its own separate private entrance.

Raven’s Rest is a fully furnished two-room apartment with a view of the Smokies. It has a bedroom, full bath, kitchenette, and sitting room. We ask retreatants to bring their own food and donate whatever they can for their stay.  Guests may walk wooded trails over private property including lovely ponds with beautiful views.  Spiritual guidance is available upon request, but no formal programs are offered.
